These are ultra-quiet, fully regulated switching boost power
converters (switchmode), designed to allow the use of 24 volt equipment in 12
volt vehicles, cranes, marine, base station, mobile displays and construction
vehicles. These are attractive, reliable, robust DC/DC converters good for fork
lifts, off-road, construction and recreational equipment. They have a high
tolerance for shock and vibration, are polarity protected, and have a dry
contact output fail relay.
To determine the amperage you need just add
up the watts of all the 24V equipment and divide by 24 volts. The output
voltage can be adjusted to between 24.0 and 27.5 VDC in 0.5 volt increments
with a 3 position DIP switch. They have an extra-wide input voltage range that
extends from 10.5 to 18VDC.
These rugged converters have common
negative, so they are not fully isolated, but can be used for almost all 24
volt applications. They come in regular, water proof and militarized versions.
