Remote Charging Board for Lead Acid Batteries |

Superbly Engineered Products, Retail, Wholesale, and Custom Designed! We had a problem. A lead acid battery is located a couple hundred feet away from the AC outlet and we needed to charge it. We don't want to run AC out there, we want low voltage DC for obvious safety reasons. But the voltage drop in the wiring will prevent the battery from charging properly, and the voltage drop is dependent on the current, which makes the charging very slow. So we invented this charging board. The idea is that you can give the charging board between 18 and 28 volts and it will charge a 12 volt battery. The internal DC converter can accept a wide range of input voltage and then accurately charge the battery.
