Summary: This is a high efficiency switchmode charger based on the latest high frequency power supply design technology. This enables the charger to pack 4000 watts into a relatively small package.

Suggested Applications: Fast charging of flooded lead acid batteries and qualified VRLA batteries for fork lifts, club cars, golf carts, floats and other electric vehicles.

Application note: We have these installed in a luxury resort in the Seychelle Islands to provide fast-charge capabilities to their golf-cart fleet, providing 2-3 hour turn around.

Maintenance mode: After the 48V battery is full the charger goes into a maintenance mode. In maintenance mode the battery is safely floated at 55.2 volts to maintain the battery and replace charge lost due to leakage or self discharge.
