These are fully regulated switchmode power converters, designed to allow the use of sensitive 12 volt equipment in 12V vehicles. These are attractive, reliable, robust DC/DC converters good for fork lifts, off-road, military, construction and recreational equipment. They are typically used for military equipment, PLCs, laser scanners, and wherever rugged , regulated 12VDC is required. They are ultra quiet, both in the input and noise fed back into the input.
The forklift option includes filtering and surge suppression.

To determine the amperage you need just add up the watts of all the equipment and divide by 12 volts.
These converters have common negative, so they are not fully isolated, but can be used for almost all 12 volt applications.

*Low input voltage behavior. When the input falls below 11 volts the output voltage is no longer regulated, but will fall in voltage. At 1 amp output this dropoff starts when the input voltage is 8.3V.
The unit will turn itself off at about 7 volts, and will automatically turn back on again when the input voltage is restored.
