CR435 and CR425 "fishing lure" lithium manganese dioxide battery in the pin package

This tiny non-rechargeable pin battery was originally developed for lures for large fishing fleets. It has a capacity of 50 mAH and a discharge rate of 5 mA. It can be used wherever a tiny non-rechargeable battery is needed. It is only 4 mm in diameter (0.16 inches, 5/32").

Advantages:

Can be used in the place of BR-435E, BR435, P139, P139-ND, BR-425E, BR425
Excellent voltage hold-up during discharge
Limited lifetime, the polymer seal lets the battery deteriorate, please use within 6 months of purchase

Disadvantages

These batteries have a very very short shelf life. The rubber seal is not adequate to make it a good battery. So it is best to find a supplier that can assure a fresh batch and then use the cells as soon as possible, within weeks preferably. We can supply large quantities, but we don't sell enough of them to justify stocking them.
